Well, I'm back.

The Calling was great fun (full report to follow), but I was ratty, stressed and tense when I turned up. Not ideal. Things got better, though.

Fill us in!

Ooh!
We are playing there soon.
What's it like?

Actually, that's something that was vaguely confusing me on the Wasp Factory spamblast...

Are you actually playing at the Calling, or are the Calling promoters organising this as a 'special event' in a different venue? 'Cos the Calling's now in the Kambar, and I think I remember someone mentioning that you were playing the Boat Race...?

[livejournal.com profile] zotz? [livejournal.com profile] eviltwinemma? D'you happen to have the answer?

In any case, the Camgoths are numerous (even without the usual out-of-towners), enthusiastic and friendly, so it should be a pretty good night!

It has very little to do with the Calling. It's a Rocksoc Gig, with Rocksoc financial backing and publicity is going to be general. As soon as i get in touch with the printers and put some posters up. D'oh!

Yes, it's going to be 9th March at the Boat Race, and it was my fault :)

And everyone is quite excited about it and looking forward to it (finally! Something to do in CAmbridge on a Saturday night!) Should be lots of fun!

Ah... your fault? Well done that goth (and don't forget to hype it on netgoth, if you haven't already :).

Thanks for clarifying the details, too!

Sorry I wasn't as fun as I could've been. :o(

Ah, no problem. I wouldn't have been there at all if you hadn't given me a lift, anyway. And you were certainly entertaining enough at times...

Really? Details man. We want details. ;-)

Insufficiently cryptic?

All I'm saying is "well, if that's how high a startled DaveH can jump while ill, there are Olympic possibilities..."

And if he will decide to be 'squishy' Dave, he has to accept the consequences.

Who startled him?
How did they startle him?
Just how high *did* he jump?
Define 'squishy-Dave'.

It's not worth my health to answer this one. But let's just say that answers #2 and #4 are not entirely unrelated.

Then let me ask a different question.

Who gave him the 'squishy' moniker?

Oh, and feel free to answer these questions yourself Dave. I know you're out there. ;-)
