I sort-of wish it wasn't. I don't think I've inflicted my rant about this on LJ just yet, but the short version is this: I'd much rather have a pleasant and vaguely stylish boxed set that's shaped like a DVD boxed set and fits on a shelf than something that's TARDIS/Tricorder/whatever shaped and just looks faintly tacky...
