Yup. Was going to link to that one myself.

However, the C4 news was saying that he's gone after the head of the inquiry told him (last night) that there's evidence proving that the visa that sparked this was fast tracked. If that's the case, then I think that's a more sensible (and slightly less tabloid-driven) reason for him to go.

With the most recent allegations re a second fast-tracked visa, I'm half expecting to hear that he jumped before he was pushed - tip of the iceberg sort of scenario...

All in all I'm glad that he has gone, but I do agree with what most of what Zotz says.

Unfortunately I think that a) Blunkett will be back - possibly quite soon... and b) that Clarke will be despirate to avoid seeming 'softer' in any way...

I'll miss his dog.. :'( Also there does seem to be a alot of nanny hassle in politics lately, maybe there's a global nanny conspiracy to depose governments :)
