That's deeply nasty. The Guardian's probably put a spin on it, but still... and because it's ahatchet jobdocumentary on Kerry, Bush (not Kerry) is entitled to TV time to reply...?
Lovely.

Date: 2004-10-12 01:56 am (UTC)Opposition Democrat supporters have rather shot themselves in the foot with the hype over Farenheit 911, though. They can hardly complain about undue media coverage with the biggest grossing documentary movie ever under their belt.
The TV documentary mentioned is on an affiliate network, "Sinclair Broadcast Group" (disappointingly not a retro 80's computing channel) which means it won't be broadcast at the same time nationwide, so it will be very difficult for people to find out when to tune in. Affiliate networks have pretty low viewing figures, mostly for exactly that reason. Sinclair is NOT an ABC nor NBC. It's not even a UPN. It's barely above a BigTime Television. Plus, Sinclair is a known right-wing channel. Viewers of Sinclair are no more likely to be swayed in their decision than Fox News fanatics.
