1. A movie: Afterlife (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0165078) Beautiful film, slow, but wonderfully shot and very emotionally involving.

2. A book: The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, by Haruki Murakami. Wierd. You'll never look at baseball bats in the same way again.

3. An album: Nine Deadly Venoms, by Depth Charge. A trip-hop version of Velvet Acid Christ.

4. An LJ Community: gothfash, the a.g.f. LJ community ;)

5. A website, www.dansdata.com. well written, fun reviews of stuff engineers like.

6. 'Baby Boomers' by Absolom, 'cos its bouncy!

I doubt any of this will be new information, but anyway...

1. Movie: Fatherland. Only became aware of it last night but must get hold of the book.
2. Book: The Little Book of Dumb Britain - a Private Eye collection of stupid quiz show wrong answers: eg
Anne Robinson What white substance was used in early gas lighting systems?
Contestant Cocaine
3. Wouldn't dream of recommending albums to anyone, I don't hear enough music to judge
4. LJ user/community - erm... you seem to have most of my friends already. Polidori or Goffstar (GG)
5. Website - again, no idea
6. Song to download - All About Eve's cover of Devil Woman, if you haven't already.

Actually, I've not yet seen the movie of Fatherland (although I vaguely knew it existed), but I have read the book, which is pretty good.

The Little Book Of Dumb Britain sounds well worth getting too, so I'll look out for it.

I haven't got the AAE track, so I'll go download it.

And I'll go take a peek at goffstar and polidori's journals.
