Epilogue #1 7:27PM, Frankfurt airport
Jun. 10th, 2003 06:27 pmAs ever, they decided to check my boots very carefully before letting me through. The flight (on a 737) was short and simple - and ahead of schedule, arriving quite some time before a bus was available.
Not been to this airport before. It's big, and busy - but not as irritating as Leipzig, possibly because there are less kids and everyone seems to be going somewhere, not loudly yammering. Flights up on the board right now include Tokyo, Beiruit, Zagreb, Seoul and Alexandria. I think l like it here. Just one jingling goth (several were on my first flight) can still be detected, glimpsed on the other side of the lounge. It's quite a long wait, this time. Calmer now - my phone's working, so I've swapped "still alive, so far" texts with
snow_leopard, and I've been reading The Golden Cat on the flight.
Just realised that I'm travelling completely alone at the moment. No friends, no random UK goths. It's actually quite a pleasant feeling. Possibly this means I'm weird. Or just feeling antisocial. :-)
