I have a strange craving to set up a strange community. A place to talk about/review food. Not home cooking and fine restaurant meals, oh no.

Somewhere to recommend (or warn against) brands of pre-packed sandwiches, new potato-based snack foods and cans of fizzy things.

Possibly this just proves that I need more sleep. :)

Speaking of which, has anyone else seen the ad for McCains Micro Toasties?

How can defrosting possibly take less time than making them from scratch? And WTF would microwaved toast taste like?

When I was living alone and too ill to do much of anything, I lived on a steady diet of cheese toasties - there really is that little effort involved with the Real Thing (TM).

On the plus side, I love Vanilla Coke. And I don't drink Coke, or any other fizzy soft drink really, as a rule.
