Nope, I didn't. They gave it to someone else (who started on Monday, and was useless) then tried to contact me yesterday about that... but I was asleep, so it's now gone to a different someone else.
This is a different job entirely... (will post details in a minute or five).
Not the best day to start on, though - which tube station do I want for the theatre, and how long a walk is it from there? I might still be able to make it, but I finish work at 5, so if traffic slows the bus and I miss the train, I might not...
I can book a half-day to see Devin, but doing that for my first day at work isn't really an option. *sulk*
The theatre is here (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newprint.srf?x=529670&y=180842&z=1). So the easiest thing for you to do is probably to catch the Northern Line down to Leicester Square. It starts at 7.30 so thats not TOO bad for getting there. It would be good to see you, but if you can't make it then don't worry, I can always tell you how good it was the next day!! I finish work at 5.30 and as it would be 6.30 before I got home I will probably pootle around the National Portrait Gallery beforehand.
