I guess I shouldn't make a smartass/cruel comment (without a care in the world) about advising that they drop the "kam" , the next "A" and the "ylum" as well. So I won't.

What -- you mean -- like when they spelled Earth Loop Recall as "Earth Loop Recoil" on their flyers? I always have to wonder about a promotions team who can't get the names of the bands right...

Btw - you might not have seen my post..I found my copy of the 3SKS Lightening Man cover AND a re-work of Mendicino Girl (with acoustic guitar!)... I will send you a copy if you email me your address (blu@starvox.net)

To be fair, that might be one of the more explicable ones - I remember ben_elr saying that they were almost Earth Loop Recoil, so that might have something to do with Flag's confusion.

It still doesn't explain how Lover of Sin, supporting Christian Death next month, initially got listed as "Sons of Lovers".

Or why Descendants of Cain have been (literally) forgotten on the flyers for this year's Gotham. Twice. On both occasions, a slightly worried John G swiftly got in touch to check that the band wee still playing, and they were restored for at least one flyer...

What else... hmm... Computorgirl being listed as "Computergirl", a reference to Siobhan Fahey of "Shakespeares Sister" (Yep, that's how to spell Shakespeare. Shame that it's not how they spell the band name...) and more...

I know some of these mistakes are fairly minor, but still - what message does it send to the band when you can't get their name right in your publicity?
