mrph...I've just applied for a replacement copy of my driving licence, since it seems that the provisional one I last needed in 1990 is still valid...
If you're living in Coventry and use the roads, you should be very, very scared in about three weeks, as I'll be resuming lessons. Heh. :)

Date: 2008-07-01 05:49 pm (UTC)Two online applications rejected, one phone call that didn't help much... and then a long delay while I tried to find my chequebook so that I could actually pay if I sent an application by post.
In the end, I just happened to be passing a helpful post office when I left the dentist yesterday, so they managed to sort it out for me.
Right. That's the difficult bit out of the way. How hard can the rest of it be? :)
