JK Rowling outs Dumbledore

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed that one of her characters, Hogwarts school headmaster Albus Dumbledore, is gay.

Front page news? I don't think I'm allowing my complete disinterest in all things Potter to cloud my thinking when I say "WTF? My licence fee subsidises this? This is news? Are there not a thousand more important issues on even the quietest news day?"
