- Crécy - bad language and xenophobia. Not my favourite pages, as they don't have the explanation of the Normans, but...
- Ms. Marvel - in which NextWave's Aaron Stack (don't call him 'Machine Man') gets to hang around with proper superheroes. He's still quite badly behaved. :)

I remember the Machine Man of 2020. It was a really, really cool story. Machine Man was a really cool character in it. Aaron is a completely different personality. And looks pretty different too.
So yeah, whenever I see Aaron I twitch & take an instant dislike to him, not because of his actual character, but who he's meant to be. It's about as off characterisation as I've ever seen, in anything.

Date: 2007-08-04 10:57 am (UTC)...after that, the old Machine Man was pretty much gone, so I definitely see the new Aaron as an improvement, of sorts. At least until someome finds a way to reset him to the original.
