• Crécy - bad language and xenophobia. Not my favourite pages, as they don't have the explanation of the Normans, but...
• Ms. Marvel - in which NextWave's Aaron Stack (don't call him 'Machine Man') gets to hang around with proper superheroes. He's still quite badly behaved. :)

Aaron Stack (don't call him 'Machine Man')

While Aaron is a cool character, I really, really wish that continuity didn't have him being Machine Man.

I remember the Machine Man of 2020. It was a really, really cool story. Machine Man was a really cool character in it. Aaron is a completely different personality. And looks pretty different too.

So yeah, whenever I see Aaron I twitch & take an instant dislike to him, not because of his actual character, but who he's meant to be. It's about as off characterisation as I've ever seen, in anything.

Blame the X-Men, for reinventing him as a Sentinel-enhanced whateveritwas and then messing him up in the X-51 series. :-/

...after that, the old Machine Man was pretty much gone, so I definitely see the new Aaron as an improvement, of sorts. At least until someome finds a way to reset him to the original.
