Which, Teranesia? I thought it was wonderful. First Egan writing with serious characterisation.

Good characterisation, and some wonderful creepy moments (anyone who can make a parakeet that sinister has my undying respect). I think he fluffed the ending, though - it lost momentum and just didn't work for me...
