It says in the Evening Standard today that the scales got nicked within hours of it being put there. The article celebrated the irony of part of a statue saying "Trust no-one" being stolen but hardly mentioned that it represented justice being sold down the river to the nearest mob. Possibly because it's printed in the same building as the Daily Mail.
