Ms Coulter (I presume the Ms, should it be Mrs, I pity the poor Mr) is a unique treasure of the american press. It is rare that any civilisation produces one so blinkered, one so uniquely, singularly, unutterably wrong; and when it does, it's worthy of our admiration. I can do little except admire the "stones" that Ms Coulter displays whilst peddling her reactionary filth, and point and laugh at any assumed credibility.

I wonder if it was coincidence that one of the most misled bad guys in Philip Pullman's exceptional "Her Dark Materials" trilogy is one "Ms Coulter". Who knows.

Odd, that. When first I read of Ann Coulter a couple of months back, that was the exact same thought that popped into my mind.
