Nice as it was to see Bowie do "Heroes", I'm somewhat traumatised by the Rattles - I'd never actually heard of them before, and until now I'd been blissfully unaware that Rosetta Stone's "The Witch" was actually a cover. Eeek.

Justin Sullivan (of New Model Army fame) is playing a solo date at the Birmingham glee club on November 10th, the Sunday after Whitby. It's £10 (tickets from http://www.glee.co.uk ). It's also the same day that Oysterband play Wolverhampton.
I hate these hard choices. But, Oysterband are also playing London, so they're currently (just) in second place... anyone want to go see Mr Sullivan, then? I've seen him play solo before, at M'era Luna, and he was excellent...
