Well, here we are again. My body is telling me, in no uncertain terms, that I need to slow down. My energy's running low, my fine coordination's shot to hell and I'm generally falling apart at the seams. Convergence probably didn't help, but I'd worked this out a day or so before I left, so I can't just blame that.
This time I actually plan to do something about it, too. I can't afford not to - I have things to do, starting with finding a new job (or getting into Wwk University) ASAP, before the money from the last one runs out. Then I need to redecorate the house, get rid of the lodgers (sorry!), get new lodgers (if required) and think about how I get from here to wherever I want to be in a year's time.
It's almost exactly a year since I posted my first "must slow down" piece on LJ. I did slow down in the wake of that one - a little bit, but obviously not enough. I don't want to be saying the same things again in June '03. I don't think I could physically last that long if I didn't slow down, either - I'm mercifully free of long term ailments at the moment, and I want to stay that way.
So. Time to change things. Lifestyle recalibration now in progress
