Much to my surprise, the new Dream Disciples and Je$us Loves Amerika albums are now finally out, just a little bit later than advertised. They both turned up in the post this morning.

I haven't had a chance to listen to the DD's live album (Gestalt), but the JLA one is just as angry and intense as their live shows. It works.

I'm happy now.

Even tho' I have an axe to grind with those guys...but I love them and miss them and want to know how they are... DOH!

I think I might finally understand the axe reference. *sigh* Daft gits. They were looking happy and drunk when glimpsed at Bedlam, btw.

The album's pretty fine. The title track is probably the best, but the whole thing's pretty impressive. I don't feel the urge to skip any tracks when playing it, which is always a good sign. And it's just as bitter and twisted as it should be.
