Yay, I'm going to Whitby...
Well, ok, this is me. So obviously I'm going to WGW at the end of April. But I'm also going to Whitby for a day or two in early April, at a point when it's not full of goths.
Just to relax and do sensible sightseeing things that I almost certainly won't get a chance to do at WGW. Should be fun.
Should also be weird. I'm being dragged along by my sister, y'see. A family holiday in Whitby?
Update: the one small catch being that they've decided on the 5/6/7th for the trip. Which is a Really Bad weekend for me, as it clashes with things I've already arranged. Oh well. We'll see how it turns out.

Whitby with family...
It is the one place in the world where your relatives can't say anything about the way you look, because the locals either take no notice, compliment you nicely, or ask if you are coming to the next WGW. My parents were completely mystified.
