At least partly, yeah. But it's also the fact that I've blitzed the house and retrieved various old albums from boxes recently...

I actually have an old scanner which you can have for free if you want it - obsoleted when I bought a printer-scanner-photocopier-fax machine.

I'm looking for a service whereby someone else will scan in all my pictures for me - although entrusting all my hardcopy pictures to someone else is a bit nervewracking as I don't have the negatives generally.
