It's pretty rare for the BBC to do only one series of anything, no matter how poor it is, as the BBC's traditional series of only 6 episodes is almost impossible to sell overseas.

It's really quite bad for a Beeb thing, I'm surprised it managed to get on in the first place!

it was woeful.. it's a shame as it could have worked with a bit of effort. and maybe some tension.

I know it had some deep flaws, but I still really enjoyed it. The actors did the best they could with the script they were given.
I for one do hope they get a second series, and I believe it has great scope to be a lot better.
I am however an optimist ;-)
