From my (knee-jerk liberal) viewpoint, it's rather worrying news... but the bit about bombarding journalists and foreign officials with pro-American e-mails is really rather funny.

Especially the thought of the recipients contacting the abuse@pentagon.mil address to complain about spam...

Feh, like they tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing like the truth as it is. Nice to see them admitting to it though.
