Spermwhale again...

This one's going to be a running joke, I can tell. And I think the band are most definitely in on it.

Some merchandise has now appeared on their website. Some T-shirts... and a pair of Spermwhale boxer shorts.

Do you know anything about them? ... I'd never heard of them before they appeared on the Whitby band list thing ... I do lead a sheltered life!

Nor had I - it's their first gig, although I gather that the band members have previous history elsewhere. I downloaded the sample track, "pyrotechnic", and rather liked it.

I do actually know that bit, but they're trying to keep it quiet. I don't think they'll succeed, but [delete]... :)

But yes, male vocals. They actually remind me of Seabound - slow, atmospheric, synth-based. They're a bit "crunchier" though, with some bleeps breaking up the synth backdrop and making it a bit harsher. If that makes any sense at all. One of these days I'll learn some proper technical words for talking about music, honest.
