The Last Dance + Razorblade Kisses + TBA, Coventry Nov 18th

Spread the word...
The Last Dance
+ Razorblade Kisses
+ TBA

November 18th. £5 on the door.

The Jailhouse
Much Park St.
Coventry
CV1 2LU
It's part of the UK tour being arranged by Martin/oldgoth (Insanitorium) and it's a bargain, in my opinion. A chance to see Calfornia's TLD playing a local venue, support from Southampton's [livejournal.com profile] rbkisses and DJing by the Insanitorium team until the early hours.

See some of you Coventry goth (and 'not-exactly-goth') folk there? Coventry's been quiet lately and this strikes me as a very good use of £5 and a spare evening. It'd be nice to see a few other Midlands types there, too - it's been a while since we've had a proper gathering of the horde at the Jailhouse, so...

Just drag a drift-net through The Beer Engine, that should solve all your recruiting problems :-)

I'm planning on doing that too, as it happens. And I should have a heap of flyers for this arriving soon.

Now we just need to lure any gullible unsuspecting interested Birmingham, Leicester and possibly Oxford types, too. Plus any Cambridge or Bristol people who happen to get caught in that drift net.

I can see the makings of a book here: Trawling for Goths.

It could top the bestseller charts alongside Round Ireland with a Fridge in the 'ways to loose huge amounts of your time' category :-)

Disturbing. Not least because I've only just seen one reference to Playing the Moldovans at Tennis appear on my friends list. Is it Tony Hawks day, did you see the same post or do we just have a worrying synchronicity at work with the cultural references? :)

worry synchronicity it is then :-)

Although there *would be* an official Tony Hawkes day if there were any justice in the world.

Despite the fact that I'm coming to see you that weekend I doubt I'll make it up on Friday night - one of the joys of my new job is that Friday afternoon/evening is the busiest bit of the week :(

Bah. Had kind of figured that you probably couldn't make it, but still...

[We get amazingly busy Mondays instead. Nobody seems quite sure why]

I suspect I'll be having a very musical weekend, anyway - Bravery on Saturday (remind me how much I owe you for the ticket and I'll pay you back at WGW), TLD on Friday and Mariza @ Warwick uni on Thursday. :)
