Probably old news to everyone who isn't me, but...

I've just discovered a remix of One Winged Angel (aka "that Sephiroth choir song" from FFVII). Hmm. I like this.

[Oh, and Advent Children must have a version of One Winged Angel in the soundtrack somewhere. It's compulsory. Really.]

No, alas. It doesn't get a British release for a while (October, iirc). Bah.

Although I'm still very twitchy about the whole idea. Final Fantasy is at its best when it has characters with strong personalities and dark secrets, plots that reshape the world and cataclysmic final battles... I'm sure it'll be a great MMORPG, but it may not include the things I usually want from a Final Fantasy game...

On the other hand, http://www.ff12.com is looking rather stylish. :)

Yeah, I got FFXI as a birthday gift. It is very open ended and the world is very very huge. It is a really cool game though, despite the fact you can do whatever the hell you want. Which means you have to spend a lot of time figure out what the hell you DO want. If you give it a shot though, it will get addictive.

FFXII is going to be interesting. It is being directed by the same gentleman that made FFTactics, so a lot of the things we are familiar with may be changing... the same but totally differen... if that makes sense. The combat system is getting re-arranged, again. There are no victory sword swings and such after winning a battle, there was a whole bunch of stuff small differences that I've read about, that I cannot recall right at this momment... naturally.
