LJ, through a glass madly...

Blame [livejournal.com profile] imago for pointing me at this strangeness - alas, it only works on paid accounts and early adopters. But if you're one of them, then replace the mrph in the quoted URL with your LJ username, and see what it makes of you. Multiple attempts will get different variations.

This is what it did to my LJ:

My head hurts. Life imitating art? Really I think I'm attempting to expect. News site now analyses the hacker menace Those of a vaguely gothy nature. Read more.

It seems to reliably boil [livejournal.com profile] giolla's LJ down to Firewalls, Oysterband, Gin and Guinness, btw... :-)

Gin and OysterBand

About right then.
However it creates more text than there is in my lj.
A lot more.

It once generated me an entry of [livejournal.com profile] mrph's which consisted of a page and a half of 'new bands new bands new bands' with 'my head hurts' tacked on the end, which I thought rather appropriate.

Yeees, when I tried yours it came up with 325 lines of "Companions sharing Guinness music of Oysterband Sipping gin and it autumn night" followed by "Yow!".

A lesson to us all, methinks ;)

It's probably just Markov-chaining. If so, it can produce an arbitrary amount of output.
