It's been snowing. Perhaps it's proof that I'm not really an adult, but walking through the snow (even if it's not really settling) is something that's guaranteed to cheer me up. The light sky is certainly a factor, but basically I just like snow. Yes, I know, I'm a sad case. :)

So, walked into town. Did Stuff - hassled the temp agency, converted my huge stock of copper coins into shopping (I'm starting to like those CoinStar machines :), told the council tax folks about my current situation and signed on (for the last time, hopefully).

Now... I've got some tidying to do, a job to apply for, some job site surfing to do and quite possibly a good book to read. And this evening I'll be off to the Windmill for a quiet pint with zarbi, mistdog and juudes.

Eeek. Motivation. Scary! :)

It's been snowing

I was just about to say: does that mean it's going to start snowing here soon and then I looked out of the window. Arse. It's cold enough: I'm sat here working with fingerless gloves, thermal, jumper and big cardi on as it is!

Hmm, suppose I'd better not use up too much food because it's going to be treacherous getting out of the house soon. The council never bothers to grit down our bloody road so we end up housebound every time it snows *grumble*

I think I am going to stay at home - I developed have a ticklish cough that is likely to irritate others as well as me, and will probably be a lot worse in a pub atmosphere. I'm sure jon will be there tho.
