That's... I'm not sure if I'm appalled or amused. Interesting!

What a brilliant article!

Like the people who think they can play around with crack or pre-marital sex and not get burned by death, AIDS or pregnancy

Let's not forget, folks, crack cocaine and premarital sex are fundamentally the same thing. Oh my.

Incidentally, which D&D books are the ones with detailed rituals? I've not seen those ones.

oh dear oh dear, i really hate it when people spout such utter crap about my hobby, truth is, as far as i'm concerned, all "religions" are as bad as one another, i know plenty of roleplayers who feel as i do plus some who are "pagan" and some who are "christian". At the end of the day the hobby is purely escapism except for an idiotic minority who can't distinguish it from reality.

The idiotic minority in question being the religious nutters, not the roleplayers, from the look of it...:)

I loved the way he listed those 'evil' D&D players who have killed or where killed. Its not as though Christians have killed is it?

We should write a paper on how the bible has incited people to kill! See how he likes that?!

I think these people need to remember there's a reason why they're called Fantasy Roleplaying Games. That's assuming that they're able to distinguish between fantasy and reality, of course.
