Things to do with Broadband, #127

...visit www.pheer.com and enjoy the Bella Morte live show videos there (The NY ones seem to have better picture quality, but the Charlottesville ones do a better job of capturing the energy of the shows). I really do need to go see them again.

And yes, I know they're playing Catalyst. And I do want to be there, especially as I missed C9. It's just that my bank balance might have other ideas.

[Things to do with broadband #128 is "get back onto USENET", btw - backlogs, dodgy ISPs and general hassle meant that I more or less gave up on a.g and upg some time back. This will now change]

Much as I want to see Bella Morte again, the rest of the catalyst lineup so far fails to impress me, so I'll be going to Toronto some other time. (my bank balance isn't healthy enough for me to go anyway)

Well, I'll happily go see Goteki and Deathboy, and don't mind travelling a hundred or so miles for a London gig. But going all the way to Toronto to watch them seems a little excessive.

[It might just be cheaper to give Frank Flag all my money and say "here's lots of cash, book Bella Morte for an Underworld show"... although that might not work so well, either... :)]

If I do go, it'll be because of the people as much as the bands. As ever. :) But it's looking unlikely.

If the other half of the lineup isn't some combinatin of Ghoultown, Cinema Strange, Audra, Voltaire and Unto Ashes, there's no way I can justify it. Or Vampire Beach Babes, but I think Marcus would forgive me (it's not like I've never seen him perform before, just not in this band) if I opted for financial responsibility.

I guess it depends what music you're into. Personally, I'd never heard of Bella Morte ;) They're going to be announcing some more bands soon, and personally I'd like to consider us always worth watching ;)

catalyst! catalyst! catalyst!

erm... sorry. this isn't the set of beetlejuice.

the last half of the catalyst line up shall not disappoint. commisserate with your bank balance in the mean time. it won't be that much longer.
