Card-carrying malcontent...

So Blunkett's in favour of identity cards? I really don't like that idea. I'm just not sure if I dislike enough to try to refuse the wretched thing if it comes into law, as a point of principle.

But at the moment, I think I probably do...

UPDATE - Unsurprising enough, a rather nice piece on this has just appeared on the Guardian website, here.

With ID cards?

I don't understand the problem?

I have an Identity card - Its my passport, my credit card, my bank account, my anything which has a history - Is an identity card as such.

On a more realistic note - I have a Hong Kong identity card which you are required to carry around with you by law.
I don't see the problem with it - Unless you are trying to hide something??

I don't personally see a problem...

Can you explain further Morph?

Cheers

My problems with it are summed up by the word "Compulsory".
