Say you want a resolution...

FWIW, mine are allegedly:

1) Get the DIY and general repair work on the house done. This covers everything from new carpets and wallpaper (in particular, rebuilding [livejournal.com profile] _gh0st_'s old room after its brief spell as a mock-Brazilian rainforest) to double glazing and a new (wood?) front door.

2) Nuke the garden. From orbit. It's the only way to be sure. This also includes garage repairs/rebuild, and replacing the last remnants of the original (broken) fence.

3) More proper cooking, less junk food. No explanation needed for this one. And I have a number of interesting new cookbooks to raid for ideas... :-)

4) Avoid bankruptcy. Between the house and the planned trips abroad (Leipzig, Zillo, M'era Luna, Montreal), it's not going to be the cheapest year. And I've not got a lodger at the moment, either, which will also hit the finances.

5) Have fun, take it easy, enjoy the year. I don't intend to be constantly stressed (or mired in depression) this year. I'm entering it with a pretty clean slate, which has got to be good for me. I don't currently seem to be haunted by any great social trauma and, for once, I'm not organising anything. That's a start...
