In order of likelihood of working:
1) Phone call on either of the landline numbers (but not answering machine - see #8)
2) Email to my ClaraNET address. Although this may change in a week or two. Email to the @livejournal address works well too.
3) Phone call to the mobile - assuming that it's not chucked in a coat pocket - and see #9 for voicemail...
4) Text message to the mobile. Might take a day or so, but I will reply.
5) LJ Comment. I get responses by email, and I do read them. I usually reply.
6) Snail mail. No, really. I'm not terribly good at writing back, but (unless it's a bill :) I do tend to read my post.
7) email to my Cruelmail address (if you're not mailing from an address I've approved) - these days I check it every week or so, to see if there's any useful mail mixed in with the spam. If you are mailing from an address I've approved, it just gets forwarded to ClaraNET - see #2.
8) The answering machine on the landline. It's old and crackly, and I have a tendency to check the phone's caller display feature for 'missed calls' and reply before checking the answering machine. So you probably don't gain much by using it.
9) Voicemail. I don't check it very often. About once a month, probably. If people phone me, I return the call (or text them). Unless your number's marked as private, I probably won't bother to check voicemail before calling you back. Or, er, bother to check it at all... :(
I've not included work email on the list - I do have email at work, but I can't send mail externally at the moment, and the management is really very harsh on email abuse. If you think you might need to contact me during the day, you're probably better off texting the mobile.
