(no subject)

Yesterday was SINergy, and a chance for [livejournal.com profile] mrbear  & myself to play lots of music at unsuspecting live roleplayers. Which was fun, and a little unusual.

Especially when we had someone wander up and request Winterkalte's "Do Not Vote For Industry" at gunpoint. I stalled, and someone eventually shot him for me. So that's ok. :)

Here's what got played - mine are in grey, [livejournal.com profile] mrbear's are in blue. And yes, there is a lot of Velvet Acid Christ in there...

Pentagon report claims that USA "not bound by laws banning the use of torture"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3783869.stm

According to the BBC, who are getting this via the Wall Street Journal: "The document also argued that torturers acting under presidential orders could not be prosecuted"

Fuck that. We've heard that excuse before, and 'just following orders' didn't cut any ice that time, either.
