Strange idea of the day

For some reason, I've now got a vague idea for a "25 years later" sequel-of-sorts to the BBC's comedy Citizen Smith bouncing around in my head.

This is probably because I saw Attila the Stockbroker at BiCon, and the bits of Citizen Smith I remember were parodying a lot of the things Attila does...

One thing's for sure - the comedy show that's now rehearsing in the back of my mind is a lot darker and more cynical than the original series was, and the humour's targeted in a very different direction.

[It may actually become a short and spiky bit of fanfic at some point, but don't bet on it...]

My brain has turned to mush, and I've now lost all ability to write anything coherent. I blame the 'flu-thing, which is slowly dragging me down. Although the general lack of sleep probably isn't helping much, either.

So I'm giving up on LJ for a day or two, until I'm less muzzy. I'm going to go home, wrap up warm, sleep a lot, eat pasta and drink lots of warm lemon-based things.

Blurgh.
